Chapter 6-7 Spiderman

Question #1

Each chapter has been given a title. Explain why each title was good (or bad) choice for the chapter using evidence from the chapter to support your answer. If you didn't like he title, suggest an alternative.

Question #2

Explain the "Main idea" or theme of the graphic novel.

I think that the main idea is to show you how spider man was started and how he got his powers and how the green goblin was created and is evil and wants to kill Peter Parker.

Question #3

Does Peter have a responsibility to help others because he has superpowers? Why or why not?

I think that he does have a responsibility to help others because it would be a waste of his powers to just use them to his own benefit even though he could be an amazing robber. It would be better for him to use his powers for good and save people.

Question #4

Give your own ideas on what makes someone a hero.

A hero is someone who helps other people and saves them from things. they are generally nice to people and and basically make life easier for some people. They don't have to have superpowers either. e.g. They help old ladies across a busy road and make it safe for them.

Chapter 4-5 Spiderman

Question #1
Can you think of a new use for the molecular adhesive that Peter developed? Describe it.

Another use could be for a grappling hook for like a spy agency and then spies could climb buildings with it. They would shoot the web out of the nozzle and latch it to the side of a building. Then they would use the other one then shoot that at the wall only higher. Then they would keep doing that until they reach the top of the building. Another use would also be for people like police who catch people. You would use the web by spraying it at the person your aiming for then like tripping them or something.

Question #2
How would you improve the hero Spider-man?

I would improve Spider-man by making able to to control the actions of spiders and make them attack people (Evil obviously). So then if there was this evil guy in a place that you can only get in by getting through this tiny hole. Then Spider-man could control his spiders to go in and capture the guy. But normal Spider-man cannot.

Question #3
What do you think would happen if everyone had the same superpowers as Spiderman?

I think that building would be made of the molecular adhesive that Peter because it is like a web and everyone would be like a spider. Then everyone would be normal compared to everyone else because everyone has the same powers.

Chapters 1-3 Spider Man

Question #1

Describe an event that you would have handled differently. How would you have handled?

When Peter didn't tell Aunt May and Uncle Ben that he had these super powers I would have handled differently. I would have handled it by telling them that I had powers. They would be happy for me and tell me that I could save lives! Then I could become famous and be rich. Then he would become this awesome super-hero.

Question #2 Why do you think the author chose to have be picked on at the beginning of the story? I think the author chose this because he knew that Peter would become Spider-man and that Peter would be able to get them back for it. And that the weak guy should get Strong to prove something.

Question #3

What do you think would happen if Peter told Mary Jane he liked her?

I think that Mary Jane would turn him down and slap him. then Peter would be mad and kill himself because his only purpose in life is to marry Mary Jane.(DUH,DUH,DUH,DDDDUUUUHHHHH)
